Review:

Joanne Reid’s Jaralii Chronicles have been a pleasure to read overall. While some books proved to be novel-length setups, if the reader is patient, they get to the real action of blades, magic, small unit tactics, and strategy, make the tales exciting when taken together. Joanne has done a remarkable job of world-building and establishing relationships that can be romantic, witty, deadly serious, and funny.

I’m looking forward to the next books in the series.
